The gig footage of L.E.G.O. by ex-Mayhem Euronymous and Manheim is uploaded

The gig footage of L.E.G.O. (Langhus Experimental Grave chamber Orchestra) which was a side project by ex-Mayhem the late Euronymous and Manheim in Norway 1986 is uploaded on Youtube. The guy who uploads this video is Finn Håkon Rødland, he has also got along with Mayhem. This is the first time that this video is published on-line.

Although they performed abstract improvisation without elements of black metal, you can see the rare scene that Euronymous played the drum.

Will HMV record shop shibuya revive vinyl culture in Japan?

A used vinyl records and cds specialty shop, HMV record shop shibuya will open in udagawacho, shibuya on August 2nd. It is said that they will sell about 80,000 used records and cds bought from abroad in the space of 500 square meter. It is the site of a record shop DMR (Dance Music Records, a record shop since 90's). 

Udagawacho was called "The record village" or "The sanctuary of record shops" before. From later 90's to early 00's, about 50～60 record shops crowded together, Kids who was digging with a lot of bags of record shops took strides. If you watch PV of Darthreider "Cisco-zaka", you can understand a part of enthusiasm at that time.

In 1994, 20 years ago from now, Keiji Haino joined in Faust's gig or recording as a guest. That rare footages are uploaded in succession. Above video is the performance at Death Valley in California on US tour of Faust. Below video is the scene of the recording of Faust's "Rien", Keiji Haino explodes the intensive vocalization in his own way.

Indonesian improvisation duo Senwaya come to Japan

It is decided that Indonesian improvisation duo Senyawa also known for collaboration with Arrington de dionyso come to Japan. Currently, it is announced that they will perform at "Jazz Art Sengawa 2014" organized on Sep.6 and 7. They will appear on Sep.6, and it is planed that they will have a session with the guitarist Kazuhisa Uchihashi.

11 paranoias have started recording the new album

UK doom metal group 11 Paranoias just launched the 1st LP "Spectralbeastiaries" in March this year, have already started recording the new album, their label Ritual Productions announced. They play the orthodox doom metal taken over the DNA of Ramesses. I'm looking forward to see how they evolve their music, as catalyzing Mike Vest who is also influenced by Japanese psychedelic rock.
