Inanna - Awakening (State I/State II)

The world of Brazilian psychedelic pops in 70's drawn by a soft and delicate touch. The work is fulled with a lot of great songs including "Claudia", so I'm astonished the excellence of the songwriting by the leader, Adolfo.

Cathedral - The Ethereal Mirror

The second album released 2 years after the sensational first album which made us known that it's not already cool for dwelling on the fastness, but it's far cooler the sound has slowness/heaviness. I can predicate this is the masterpiece we can call the foundation which builds the prosperity of current doom metal scene.

Mestre Moraes - Gcap tem dende

Music of Capoiera which is the traditional performance art in Brazil. Minimal and delicate rhythm flicked out by berimbau and percussions, the strong male voice and the chorus are resounding. Sound like more dope Naiyabingi.

Keiji Haino with Boris - Black: Implication Flooding

Haino fights back with oscillator which is playing drone and the shout like the beast and some ethnic musical instruments against gloomy, slow and heavy sound played by Boris. I feel their passion from the sound which steps into the unknown territory beyond doom metal and psychedelic.

　The label "Omega Point" (Tokyo) which heads for at the pole of music is an unprecedented existence which has been digging the unknown masterpieces and buried great works of Japanese composers after World War Ⅱand has self-produced. Those works especially specialize the field called electronic music or tape music. Recently, two years ago, they finally released various amazing performance of John Cage with his sworn friend David Tudor in Japan as CD and LP by discovering shelved tape pool (attached with photos of performance scenes at that time). It was played at Sougetsu Kaikan in 1962, when they come to Japan at first.  This was really "John Cage Shock" as the title said.

Here is the masterpiece of electronic music which Omega released with confidence. Two works which are "Echoes" (1981）and "Emerald tablet" (1978) self-recorded by Soumei Satoh, a composer from Sendai. Original tapes were lost, these were re-mastered by Sumihisa Arima with his effort because of multi-channel recording and were released with winning endorsement by Satoh himself.  The subtle and profound sound is beyond description. The wave of sound just like the horrible darkness and the light which are shined beyond that is surging. As if near-death experience is like that. I don't recommend the person who is emotionally unstable. You should listen to this alone in the fully relax state at dawn. If you don't so, you can't understand the true worth of this two works.

Swamp Witch - Strange Cult

The track from the new album "The Slithering Bog" by the new comer of US Doom/Sludge. Although the guitarist comes to play the riff like traditional doom metal, the gloomy voice of Jimmy as if it was welled up from the bottom of the hell is amazing as usual. Corrupted fans must listen to.

Anenon - Shibaura

The solo unit by Brian Allen Simon in LA. I'm overwhelmed by a large-scale minimal track which reminds us Terry Riley - Keyboard Studies.

Taxes - Lawnmower Man

Pretty modern raw house by Patricia and Ngly. Fans of Person of interest must listen to.

Ol' Dirty Bastard - Nigga Please

"Just like Wildman Fisher." This was one of the favorite work of DJ Keiji Haino who currently plays also Nas, when he begun to get into hiphop. The masterpiece the genius of Ol'dirty who is naturally avat-garde explode. It is rare such a unique rapper will appear.

The French improviser, Cyril M. will release the new tape "Diffraciton".

The French improviser, Cyril M. dared to tour through Japan in this January, although he was only 19 years old. He will release the new tape on early October.

H.S. - Untitled

Drone techno by false name of Huerco S. I think only techno fans shouldn't listen to this mad drone as if we lose our mind.

Full Of Hell - Gordian Knot

The track from the collaboration album by a band from Maryland in US and Merzbow. Raging fifty six seconds which played harsh sounds like the mix of 90's death metal/grindcore and blackend crust. I'd like fans of Young and in the way to listen to.

Noise - Tennou

The unit by Touri Kudou, the leader of Mahel Shalal Hash Baz which is currently touring in US and his wife Reiko. I'd like fans of experimental black metal to listen to the coldest sound which the bleak organ and the feeble female vocal are resounding in every part.

SpaceGhostPurrp - Dark Angel (Low Quality)

The lyric which the same phrase is rephrasing like the echo make the magical atmosphere. The track which carves out the new ground with sampling the riff of heavy metal.

Aphex Twin - Richard D. James Album

The masterpiece which is personal music only Richard D. James can make. It's far beyond the field of techno or ambient. I'd like to young people who feel "Is Aphex a such level?" when they listen to the new song listen to this.

Haribo「Rabbit hole」

The cool brooklyn group which revive the taste of lo-fi/junk in this age. They make the framework of the sound by the gloomy riff like Sabbath and cheap drum machine. Theatrical vocal is echoing on that sound. They will be kept an eye on in Japan from now just like Guardian Alien.

v.a. - Judgment Night

One of the destination of mixture which started by Bad Brains or Beastie in early 80's and had been continuously developed.　The track 2 and 7 by the extraordinary combination are pretty cool.

Aïsha Devi - Luv Exstase II mix

Podcast which starts from the representing track in 2014 "Throat Dub". Not tending to particular genre, this is completed unique mix which ejected various music elements like techno, tribal dub, hiphop.

Somaticae - Dressed like a bubblegum

Obscure techno which he overindulges in adding a change to the acid taste track released from French label, In Paradisum. This isn't straightforward track which is full of experimentation, because this label has released Low Jack.

Silent Servant - LN-CC Store Mix 042

Although he uses sound sources of 80's flavor like industrial, cosmic and acid, he creates modern mixes. So, I'm impressed by his skill. Person who likes Trevor Jackson "Metal Dance" should listen to.

Blackest Ever Black - August 2014

Podcast by dark industrial/techno label in London. It is started from John Avery whose high tone as if it is resounding in the dark night reminds Keiji Haino. I'm not tired the construction because various genre like ambient, post punk, SSW etc. are played.

Stuart Dempster - Cloud Landings

Drone by a trombone player who is known for co-performance with Pauline Oliveros. I'd like fans around Eliane Radigue to listen to the soft and clear sound made use of the reverb by recorded within the large tank in Seattle.

Gang Starr - Daily Operation

The masterpiece of Gang Starr. Dope beats and tricky play sent out by DJ Premier had to make a great impact on underground hiphop which was flourishing in 1990's.

Eardrum -Deep End

The group by the drummer, Lou Ciccotelli who had been active with Kevin Martin in God or Ice. The complicated sound mixed the elements of tribal music, jazz, dub is one of the favorite of DJ Kensei. It's too unfortunate that they are excessively underestimated.

Douglas Leedy - The Harmonarium

From 3LP released in 1972 by the pioneer of minimal/drone who had a relationship with Terry Riley, La Monte Young. I'm fascinated the drone sounds which endlessly endure the little and low tone.

Eraldo Bernocchi & Thomas Fehlmann - Add Water

Cool techno that edgy beats stick on the track like ambient/electronica. I recommend fans around Indopepsychics or Monolake.

The Hototogisu - Untitled 1

The unit by Mathew Bower who was active in Skullflower and so on and the female guitarist, Marcia Basset in NY. You can also feel austere refinement and quiet simplicity in Japan from this psychedelic drone which slightly diffuses sweetness like My bloody valentine.

Nam June Paik & Vassilakis Takis - Duett Paik/Takis

I'm completely fascinated by the contrast created from the beautiful and stern piano and the dynamic metal percussion and composition which accents "ma". I'd like person who likes "Watashidake?" by Keiji Haino listen to this.
